Bluebells International starts plantations at Lado Sarai

Our Hands on Habitat group from Bluebells School International participated in the Plantation activities organized by the Red Earth and Genda Phool Project on 28th August 2010. Wearing the warm orange of genda garlands and armed with spades, shovels and paint brushes, the children cleared up and planted saplings along the edges of a local park in Lado Sarai village.

The students also had a great time painting pots at the venue along with Himanshu and his team from the Genda Phool project. Unleashing their creativity on a bright Saturday morning, the students made up for scarcity of brushes by using their hands and the genda flowers and adorned the pots in some beautiful hues and patterns.

Here are a few pictures of the plantation activities.
